The Lite Side is a unique trio of acoustic musicians. Noted particularly for our vocal harmonies, we feature a wide variety of instruments including:
Our first album, a 10 song cassette, features the title song, "The Cardboard President", written by guitarist, Morgan Evans. President Clinton has a copy of this tape and we were permitted to perform it on two occasions at the White House. It is always a big hit with our audiences.
Our most recent CD/cassette entitled, "I'm Dreaming of a Lite Side Christmas" was released in November 1997. It features fifteen songs, three of which are original compositions.
Our cassette has been aired over many local radio stations. The Lite Side also was featured on WGAL-TV on their "Live at 5" broadcast where we performed our original "Cardboard President" song.
We've performed a number of times at the White House; our most recent appearance there was entertaining invited guests in the East Room over the Christmas holidays. We also have had the rare privilege to open for The Kingston Trio at a sold-out concert at the Carlisle Theatre, Carlisle, Pennsylvania.
We employ a sound technician and maintain our own sound system, which enables
us to perform for small groups as well as very large audiences. We encourage audience participation, and enjoy the camaraderie our music
brings to those who attend our performances.
